  Great place for a half day trip if you are in the Gippsland Lakes region. I'd suggest a visit in the warmer months. The place is staffed by volunteers and doesn't stay open late so confirm it will be open before heading out.

  Such a wonderful place, run by wonderful people. You have to visit this place if you can! Trust me, it'll be worth it (since it's free! You're welcome to donate whatever you like).

  Beautiful park and homestead, perfect for a picnic or some scenic walks.

  What a great location. How good would it have been to have lived here. Free entry with some great easy walking tracks. A great lookout over lakes. As you walk in grab a parks flyer that explained the history. The reason why I didn't give full marks was because the house wasn't open on our visit and there were no staff there. There was no way of telling or asking when we should come back to see inside the house
